Ok so I'm sure everyone knows the story of 112 Ocean Ave. by now. How Ronald Defeo Jr. killed his whole family back in
the early 1970's and then tried to get out of it by saying that demonic voices in his head were telling him to do it and tried
copping an insanity plea.
It was known though that Defeo was heavy on the substance abuse, so either it was a drug induced psychosis causing his
imagination to overload or he was in fact insane by natural occuring mental illness. Either way, the insanity plea didn't
work.
Within the year A new family bought the house and this is where the story begins to really take off. George and
Kathy Lutz bought the house and supposedly just shy of a month fled the house claiming life endangering paranormal activitiy.
while the Lutz's and the Warrens, supposed renowned demonologists, claim the house to be without a doubt haunted by demonic
forces; Dr. Kaplan and Mr. Douglas claim beyond a shadow of a doubt that the whole thing was whole heartedly faked.
Personally I think a majority of this story was faked. though there is no denying that Ronald Defeo Jr did indeed kill
his family, the honest circumstances as to why are forever going to be a subject of debate.
As well as The Lutz's story will forever be subject of debate.
